Though it isn't as well received as To Pimp A Butterfly, GKMC(as I choose to call it) is still a shining example of why Kendrick Lamar remains one of the greatest modern day rappers. This album has some of the most unique and catchy tracks ever to be conceived by man. A few particular highlights include Backseat Freestyle, The Art of Peer Pressure, and m.a.d city. The only songs I'm not so mezmorized by are Swimming(Drank) and Real, which doesn't mean they are bad. As a last note before I end. This is the first album where I actually sat down, pulled up the lyrics, and really, truly listened.
